Well today I had the morning off to catch up on some sleep as I haven't had any time off since I arrived, and I must have really needed it as I slept for over 15 hours!!
So today I decided to give Blossom the day off and just play with Smarty. Today with Smarty I started with playing with extreme friendly games with the CS and the CS and plastic bag, he is now getting so much better with all this!
We then played with all the other games and spent some extra time working on circling game as he has started to get faster and faster when we have been playing with this. So to keep his attention on me and stop him just trying to run in circles we started playing with transitions, change of direction and I also done lots of disengaging him when he was nice and calm.
I then saddled and we played with transitions in walk, trot and canter following the rail. This went really well so I then played freindly game when I was on him, by hanging off the side of him and touching his legs and belly and also rubbing my legs againist his sides and his bum. This went really well so I started picking objects of the ground and then playing friendly game rubbing him with the objects and he was so good!!

I'd love to see you doing this exreme friendly game with your body on my Stormy...do you think you could reach the ground with him? lol. You're very flexible aren't you, ever thought of being a stunt/horse girl? ;-)

Of course I couldn't touch the ground on Stormy, I wouldn't be able to touch his back from the ground!! I would be lucky if I could touch his legs he is so big and I am so small. It would be really funny to watch and I am pretty sure I would fall off trying lol. Il give it a go when I meet him, it will be entertainment if nothing else and a good friendly game!!
